50 Cheers to 50 Years

Wednesday 16th February marked 50 glorious years for Tanganda’s Finance Director, Henry Nemaire. Henry celebrated his Golden Jubilee with the Mutare branch of the Tanganda family.

Henry was born in 1972 in the Chikore Village of Headlands. The 8th  of 11 children, Henry was born at the height of the liberation struggle. Due to the ongoing conflict, Henry was forced to deffer his studies by a year eventually starting grade 1 in 1978 as a part of the first intake of a newly established school. Henry attended Vimbai Secondary School, in Norton, from form 1-4 before transfering to Goromonzi High School for his A-level studies. Henry excelled at every level of school, leading to him being part of the Goromonzi Academic Promotion Committee

Henry dreamed of being a doctor but after watching a video of an opertaion he realised that was not the path meant for him. Henry instead did a Bachelor of Accountancy at the University of Zimbabwe, before joining Deliotte and Touche as an Articles Clerk in 1994. Henry also holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of London.

Married in 1999, Henry and his lovely wife have 2 children, a boy and girl. If getting older means getting better, you’re approaching perfection. Happy birthday Henry.
