WE REMEMBER

Jim Ward

Dedicated family man, Jim, adored Sally, their three children and their grandchildren . Love, laughter and happiness were always abundant in their home and Jim was a “fun Dad”.

Jim loved Tanganda whose Board he joined in 1989 , later becoming Chairman. Jim provided wise counsel to the Board and was fully supportive of the massive innovations introduced by Tim Fennell. Jim became known as “Chairman” and was flattered by this.
Jim was delighted to have been appointed as Honorary Consul in Zimbabwe for Finland for he loved and admired the Finns.

Jim became a Christian in 1995 and a committed servant of the Highlands Presbyterian Church and later an Elder thereof. He got involved in tremendous charity work and always took seeds wherever he went to give to needy people so that they may plant these and in some way prosper.

Tanganda and the Meikles Group will miss the Chairman and are grateful for all that he did.
