MICHAEL A SAYWOOD

GENERAL MANAGER AGRICULTURE

Michael grew up in an agricultural environment in Mashonaland province and attended Peterhouse School. He obtained a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Technikon South Africa. His experience includes production engineering and ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification in manufacturing in Canada, large scale agricultural production as General Manager of over 3000 hectares of tobacco, maize and timber with Universal Tobacco in Malawi. Prior to joining Tanganda he worked for Forrester Estates in Mvurwi and has had significant experience in managing tobacco, horticultural and row cropping programs. He joined Tanganda in 2018 as Group Engineer. In 2020 was promoted to Agriculture Manager assigned to oversee coffee and macadamia production, a position he held until being promoted to General Manager in February 2024.

Kwirirai Chigerwe

General Manager Beverage Division

Kwirirai holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe, Masters in Food Processing Sytems Technology, Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Leadership and Management, all three from the University of Zimbabwe and various quality management systems training certifications. Kwirirai joined Tanganda as a Factory Manager in January 2002 and rose through the ranks where he has overseen the development of a diversified product range and modernisation of production. Prior to joining Tanganda, Kwirirai was involved in quality systems management as well as research and development in the engineering sector.

Tinashe Kaisa

Human Resources Executive

Tinashe is a seasoned Human Resources professional who started his Human Resources career in 2009. He worked as a Personnel Officer for Tanganda Tea Company before leaving in 2019. Prior to re-joining Tanganda in February 2024, he worked for Irvine’s Zimbabwe as a Human Resources Manager.

Tinashe holds BSc Honours Degree in Human Resources Management  from Midlands State University and a Diploma in Industrial Relations (IPMZ).Tinashe is currently studying a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management with Chinhoyi University.

Samson Kandoko

Finance Manager

Samson is a Chartered Accountant who completed his articles of clerkship with Deloitte. He attained a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours degree with a first class from the University of Zimbabwe in 2016. Prior to joining Tanganda, Samson was an Assistant Audit Manager
at Deloitte

Lincoln Mushiwokufa

Agricultural Manager (Avos)

Lincoln was born and educated in the Chipinge district of Zimbabwe. In 2000 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours)

Agriculture- Crop Science at the University of Zimbabwe. For two years after graduation, Lincoln worked as a Research Officer at the
Coffee Research Station before joining Tanganda on an internship programme. Lincoln then rose through the ranks to his current senior
management position of Agricultural Manager (Avocados). His farming skills and attention to detail were instrumental during the construction of Tanganda’s state of the art Avocado packhouse.

Julius Guni

Estates Administration Manager
Julius has vast experience in safety, health & environmental management and administration. Prior to joining Tanganda as Estates Administration Manager he worked for Standard Chartered Bank and the Lowveld Trading and Irrigation Supplies (Pvt) Ltd. Julius holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the Zimbabwe Open University, a Master in Business Administration from Midlands State University, a Master of Science in Agribusiness from Africa University and a Diploma in Environmental Health and Safety Management from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management.

Addington Bexley Chinake

Board Chairman

Addington is a legal practitioner with more than thirty years of experience in legal services in Zimbabwe. Over the past thirty years his area of specialization has been corporate and commercial law, including mining law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. Addington continues to be involved in a number of significant FDI transactions and disposals by foreign companies of equity on Zimbabwe Stock Exchange listed entities, financial institutions and major private transactions and Greenfield mining projects. Addington is a member of the International Bar Association and an advisor to the Judicial Service Commission and The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. He is a large benefactor to the Emerald Hill Children’s Home for the Deaf and Orphans as its Ambassador. Addington is a past Trustee of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe and remains a Top Ranked Commercial Lawyer in Zimbabwe by Chambers and Partners. Addington has sat on the boards of other publicly listed companies and is the current Chairman of Innscor Africa Limited and Simbisa Brands Limited. He is a member of the Innscor Group Remuneration and Nominations Committees.
